But in the lead-up to the November awards, you can check out some musical talent at the 2011 Gravity Coffee Critics’ Choice Prize showcase event at the Kings Arms. Three of New Zealand’s hottest up-and-coming artists will perform live on stage on October 6. After the concert, the 2011 Gravity Coffee Critics’ Choice Prize winner will be named. There will be live performances by Kimbra, Popstrangers and The Unfaithful Ways – all of which have been hand-picked by a panel of music industry insiders as representing the next generation of potential Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards Tui winners.
