Hannah Curwood returns briefly from her new base in London to deliver her special brand of delicate slowdive folk-pop in one Auckland show.
A unique musical voice, she writes pop with a dark edge, weaving a balance between dulcet melodies and something darker and more twisted. An obsession with Burt Bacharach and 60’s style backing vocals is melded with the black poetry of Nick Cave and the eclectic beauty of Kate Bush to produce something entirely unique.
