Assembled by trumpet player Lex French (ex-Black Seeds) on his return from New York, the Richter City Rebels are Wellingtons first and finest New Orleans Second-line Band. Drawing on the rich traditions of Soul, Funk, and Blues that make up the No-La brass-band sound, the Rebels get feet dancin and hips a-shakin'. With an international line-up featuring Adam Page (Strike, Afronauts), and Dan Hayles (Myele Manzanza), the Rebels will make you get your sweat on. Recorded live at Wellington Institution Havana; their debut album drops 21st February.
