Thursday Night Live 1885 Britomart and The New Zealand Music Commission are proud to present Thursday Night Live - a weekly showcase for New Zealand’s emerging indie, pop and rock talent. Thursday Night Live opens on March 8 with Street Chant, one of the most energetic bands to emerge from the Auckland underground in recent years. The heavy guitar pop trio have landed a couple of major b-Net hits with “You Do The Math” and “Scream Walk” and their debut album “Means” was released in late-2010 to critical acclaim. Street Chant is a dynamic live act, and a successful US tour in 2011 and high-profile support slots for The 3Ds and The Dead Weather are testament to their growing reputation.
