Silent Film Accompaniment: The How and the Why
Professor Robert Constable, Head of the School of Music at The University of Auckland, will talk about his creative work as a silent film improvisor, which will be followed by a screening of Buster Keaton's classic film The General (1926) with live improvised piano accompaniment.
