The Blue Valentines are an Americana / indie folk duo from New Zealand.
These rock'n'rollabillies turned acoustic are both members of New Zealand's Rock 'n' Surfabilly band, Faster Pussycat Kill Kill. They have swapped their electric gear for a ukulele and a dime and have been hitting venues with a swag bag of their original, beautiful melodies and clever turns of phrase.
Pioneering their own sound across Europe for the last 8 months they have toured extensively in Greece, Spain, Italy, Holland and Germany.
In the quiet moments you will feel the despair, in the loud you will live the energy, and after its over you will wonder where the hell you have been.. shoes in one hand, wallet and keys missing, walking down the road the wrong way home.
