Lo Fi Post Punk Indie Rock
The Kief are fresh onto the scene with their lo-fi/post punk demo, ‘Take It & Run‘. The rawness that bleeds out from this track is simply stunning. I think most bands try to make their music sound perfect, clear. What they forget is that while making their song sound “perfect”, they sometimes lose that real feel. The Kief have released a demo that is, in my mind, flawless. The fuzzy guitars and the stuttering vocals seem so genuine when compared to the dissected to death tracks that get released on a daily basis. They have brought back a long awaited pureness and I am sincerely excited to see what they have in store for the near future. Lovecat
