Gig Information

Women about Sound present a band feast of eclectic taste with

Seven Zen: Indie alt-rock/pop. "Dark poetry at the speed of life". Singing about stuff they care about.

Henika: Blends unlikely genres with native birdsong to create haunting soundscapes and hook filled bangers

Isla with Good Thieves: Walking the tightrope between folk, pop and rock. "A dynamic live show featuring complex vocal harmonies, a distorted ukulele and an aggressive standoff between flute and viola".

Monstera: Feminist and queer political punk band

Women About Sound aims to encourage the development of a thriving diverse music community for cis and trans women and gender diverse musicians in New Zealand
