Cumbia Blazera is back at the Rogue on Friday 21 August, eleven players deep and ready to fill the dancefloor. We originated from the Sunday Blazers Football Club and the Sunday Social League, which explains the name and what you're in for: bilingual cumbia built for moving.
We've been quietly working on a follow-up to 2018's album Don't Argue With The Ref, and this gig is your chance to hear a few of the new ones out in the wild, sitting alongside the Latin classics and originals you already know — jangly guitars, punchy brass, and the guero calling the shots as always.
