Join us for this special gig celebrating the music of the great Duke Ellington! Featuring original arrangements of Ellington classics, including tunes from Such Sweet Thunder; Black, Brown, and Beige; and others. The band will showcase every instrument, and there will be a feature from the band's celebrated clarinet trio. The septet is made up of Wellington’s top players, including members of the Aotearoa Jazz Orchestra, the RNZAF band, NZSM faculty, and rising stars.
