A native of Christchurch, New Zealand, Teknik has been making his presence known, not only as a solo artist and DJ but also as an in-demand collaborator having worked with Phace, Vicious Circle and Psidream as well as fellow NZ-based artists The Upbeats, Bulletproof, Dose, Menace, Trei and Cern, making appearances on the stunning debut albums of the latter two.
The results of all this work have seen Teknik rack up an impressive string of well-received writing credits on labels as diverse as Project 51, Soul:R, Renegade Hardware, Samurai, Resolute, and most recently, DJ Hype's legendary Tru Playaz imprint, with DJ support coming from many of the scene's biggest and most discerning artists such as Gridlok, Noisia, Ed Rush & Optical and Klute.
Never one to pre-plan a DJ performance having been a club DJ for the better part of ten years, Teknik's love for the funk is both apparent and infectious - when he is at the controls you can expect high energy off-the-cuff mixing of upfront exclusive selections blended with anthems, classic cuts and the odd surprise along the way thrown in for good measure.

Originally from Serbia, Evade's popularity has skyrocketed. Her undeniable, immeasurable love for drum and bass will keep her soaring for years to come and she never intends to put the vinyl down despite the sacrifices and difficulties being a vinyl only DJ today brings. If i could't mix vinyl, I wouldn't be a DJ.
Evade has an 'eternal itch' for the rolling tech, old-school infused drum and bass beats, dark baselines and snares to make your skin bounce. She has supported some heavyweight internationals, two of which have been her biggest inspirations growing up, and which she finds most frequently digging through her crates; Cause for Concern and Black Sun Empire. I never in my wildest dreams could have dreamt to see my name on a Black Sun Empire poster. That just blows my mind. She has also played alongside Ant TC1 from Dispatch Recordings, an absolute badman and featured on lineups with some of New Zealand's heavyweights Cern, Teknik, Concord Dawn, Bulletproof and Teknik. Evade is also part of the Thamest Coast DnB and Fishing Crew, playing annually on the beautiful coast alongside Agent Alvin and many talented others. Evade played her first international gigs last year in her hometown of Uzice which were both a great success. She can be caught ripping d-floors in Auckland's most prolific DnB clubs as well as Hamilton and countless other venues around the country. She is also on the move towards production so keep your eyes and ears peeled, Evades future is looking bassheavy.
Wax Roulette (Evade + Cooper) is a vinyl only rolling tech duo, with a healthy collection of rolling bass artillery. Their sound together is fresh and infused with oldschool bounce, fit to keep the club alive all night.
