Auckland troubadour Plum Green once again embarks on a tour across New Zealand, in support of her debut album, Rushes, out now.
Plum's début album brings together an eclectic collection of musicians to contribute to her songs – creating a captivating, unique album. Every bit of Rushes vision has been crafted from the songwriters' history of stunning imagery, with her involvement throughout the entire process (from writing and recording to mastering and album artwork) leaving Plum's indelible touch many have come to love about the endearing performer.
Rushes also boasts a fine array of New Zealand musical talent – a testament to the widespread appeal Plum has amassed from her contemporaries. Fleur Jack, John McDermott (Headless Chickens), Corey Friedlander (Fornex Chemica) and Nikolas Kissel are just a few names that have in some way, shape or form been involved in the process of crafting this album.
In conjunction with the release of her follow up to 2010's The Red EP and subsequent tour, Plum Green and her band hit the road from mid October to charm live audiences once again with her bewitching performances.
