GYPSY FEVER IS BACK!
After a years hiatus, Gypsy Fever is back for some knees-up summer shenanigans around festivals and venues of New Zealand.
Berlin-based DJ Balkanetic, champion of all things balkan and veteran of four other Gypsy Fever will be bringing back a bag of fresh balkan/gypsy tunes and cutting edge globaltronica to Queens from his travels in the old countries.
DJ Balkanetic has been entertaining audiences at festivals, parties and gigs around New Zealand and Berlin for the last few years with a highly infectious, uplifting selection of world music guaranteed to set any dancefloor alight. A Balkanetic set encompasses the most danceable sounds from around the world featuring Balkan Beats, gypsy music, middle eastern and Bollywood tunes, afrobeat and a sprinkling of Latin and Pacific flavours.
This tour also marks the release of the first ever limited edition (200 copies) Gypsy Fever compilation CD compiled by DJ Balkanetic featuring 12 of the best gypsy/balkan bands in Australia and New Zealand.
