Blackleaf Gardens are a five piece Experimental/Progressive/Heavy Metal band hailing from West Auckland, New Zealand. Bringing Crushing riffs, groovy tunes and chaotically progressive rhythmic sounds strung together with catchy bipolar vocals delivering screams to lullabies. Centred on the exploration of the mind, freedom of the body from society, and expansion of the soul, Blackleaf Gardens brings you an explosive and bizarre stage presence to remember...

Fictional Response blur the lines between Heavy Rock and Electronica, taking catchy guitar riffs and mixing them with synthesizers and a combination of electronic and live drums.
The music draws from diverse inspirations culminating in a fusion of crashing metal elements and striking sonic juxtapositions of ambiance and energy, resulting in a wide tonal palette of textural variety. A dynamic and innovative blend of different genres.

Jackal is driven by a focus on the subtlety of shifting dynamics, and the tension and power created by the interplay of the instruments. Even a single listen to Jackals third album ‘Only Everything’ demonstrates that it is a truly unique musical statement that moves through various moods effortlessly.
