Veteran is a term bandied about rather freely these days, almost as much as legendary but if any one band deserves that title in this country it is hardcore punk pioneers STICKY FILTH. After all not many bands in New Zealand can claim a continuous existence of twenty-seven years (1985-2012).
2010 was a tough year for STICKY FILTH with founding members Craig Radford and Chris Snowdon both involved in separate serious accidents which saw the originally scheduled 25th anniversary shows put on hold.
With both Craig and Chris now well on the road to recovery, STICKY FILTH is pleased to announce an intimate return show at none other than Auckland’s Whammy Bar.
The January 19th Show will see STICKY FILTH showcase the 2011 album FOURTH DOMAIN along with tracks from their 27 year catalogue.
Joining STICKY FILTH is Auckland’s THE MURDERCHORD, once described as ‘What the Dresden Dolls would sound like if they were Slayer.’
