Woods’ Jeremy Earle is known best for his strikingly pure falsetto voice. Since gaining widespread critical acclaim in 2009, Woods have escaped their previously haunting acoustic albums, instead combining deceptively sturdy melodies with off-kilter energy.
Hunx and His Punx is the brainchild of San Franciscan performer/personality Hunx, aka Seth Bogart. They are the first ever girl group fronted by a flamboyant gay male whose dream in life is to sound like a girl. known for their live show antics, candour and occasional nudity. Hunx And His Punx serve up equal helpings of 60s girl group, bubblegum pop, new wave and combine it all with the hallmarks of the Bay Area garage rock in which Seth emerged from.
New Zealand will get a tasty treat of the Sugar Mountain Festival with these special, one off New Zealand performances this January!
