3 established musician friends come together for one night to bring you a collaboration of all their works past, present and future into one wok of fried goodness!
Johnathan Crayford - a pioneering figure and music mentor freak genius has come back home for a short time to bask in the Aotearoa sun, and to help us local mere mortals muso’s too keeping reaching and stretching beyond what we ‘think’ we can achieve in the musical landscapes of our mind’s. ‘Jono’ has played with just about everyone you could imagine the world over and it’s our humble privilege to have him back amongst us to help us lift our games!
Riki Gooch – Needs little introduction! ‘Rik’ has played for everyone from Bic Runga to Fat Freddys Drop and back. A pioneering member of Aotearoa’s most beloved group ‘Trinity Roots’ and presently holding down the beat’s for ‘ahoribuzz’. Eru Dangerspiel is/was a project that few people could ever musta up let alone materialize on to the stage! Rik’s musical prowess goes way beyond what most people can even imagine. A muilti-instrumental genius, a beautiful humble soul, a statesman of musical compassion.
Aaron Tokona – ‘Azza’ started hanging out in wellington with a unique bunch of hori’s in the early 90’s that formed the band ‘Bongmaster’. This was a band that helped a group of friend’s musically develop and was the center piece that formed a strong musical bond between a group of guy’s that eventually went on to create their own musical destiny’s. Azza went on to form the Wellington rock out fit ‘Weta’ and over the past 3-4 years has developed two musical identities – ‘ahoribuzz’ and ‘Cairo Knife Fight’.
