The name was birthed when the pair formed a fledgling touring company six years ago to bring international artists Alice Russell and TM Juke to New Zealand.
They went on to host Norman Jay, Crazy P and Roy Ayers, and soon began DJing together under the Trusted Friends moniker.
Sweetpants and 90 form a dastardly duo capable of throwing down dance floor filling soulful house, disco and boogie, or classic feel good jazz, funk and tasty rare grooves.
So it stands to reason that for the brand new Trusted Friends weekly at Revelry, their music policy is broad and beautiful, open and honest, and most of all, perfect for lazy Sunday afternoons.
