After a quiet couple of months by their standards, the “most dangerous band making the rounds on the New Zealand tour circuit right now” (Groove Guide) are finally hitting the road again!
Now in their fifth year of existence, Auckland’s god bows to math are celebrating the only way they know how; by taking their mixture of pleasant melody and smashing dissonance, complex structures and punky mess (4ZZZfm) on the road.
Armed with tracks hailed as “noisy, schizophrenic, accessible and, ultimately, pretty fucking rad. (Foxy Digitalis), audiences can expect “serratingly dry, funny noise-rock” (Volume Magazine) including their latest offering; “The Only Good Fnord Is A Dead Fnord”.
Currently working on their follow up to 2011's well-received self-titled album - which found its way onto best of year lists for themusic.com.au, undertheradar.co.nz and stuff.co.nz - the band are taking a break from the studio to play 10 dates across New Zealand and Australia:
22/3 – TAURANGA – Krazy Jacks (THREAT.MEET.PROTOCOL, Deathbeam and Flogging a Dead One Horse Town)
5/4 – CHRISTCHURCH – Darkroom (Ipswich, Coate and Flogging a Dead One Horse Town)
6/4 – DUNEDIN – Chicks Hotel (Space Bats Attack, Opposite Sex and Flogging a Dead One Horse Town)
12/4 – WELLINGTON – Mighty Mighty (Force Fields and Society)
13/4 – WHANGANUI – Space Monster (Caves, Deathbeam, and Parents)
20/4 – AUCKLAND – Whammy Bar (The DHDFDs, Rackets and Carb on Carb)
