HUSK - April/May North Island Tour
Fresh off the back of opening for Moon Duo, rocking house parties and tearing Cassette 9 up for their single release, Auckland power trio HUSK are taking their groove-heavy brand of Rock N Roll on tour.
Brandishing heavy licks, non-stop fills and thunderous bass, Ukiah Brown, Matt Hutson and Robert Bruce bring a refreshing dose of no-nonsense, high-energy music that is hard to come by these days. Drawing influence from classic Psych/Blues bands such as King Crimson and Free, as well as their contemporary counterparts The Datsuns, Black Angels and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, HUSK have gained praise from press both local (UTR, bFM top 10) and abroad.
Hot off the back of releasing singles 'Sick Seagull Blues' and bFM #1 'My Love', HUSK are heading out on tour before returning to Auckland for an opening slot for Sub Pop rocker KING TUFF in April.
