Dunedin band Death and the Maiden are headlining Cassette this week and we are stoked theyre making the journey up north! Appropriately named after The Verlaines song of the same name, Death and the Maiden write slacker electronica (yes, totes a thing). Its ethereal pop sans the nostalgia and with a garage shtick, and theyre one of our favourite new bands.
