No-one likes moss on their stones, and that's why Monty Bevins is back on the road throughout August for another nationwide tour.
After a successfull 13 date Debut EP Release Tour spanning 13 dates from Invercargill to Auckland through July, Monty has again packed up the bright pink 1.0L Suzuki van in Auckland, and is headed south, homebound for Dunedin at the end of another national tour.
Since December 2012, having just recorded his debut EP in his Uncle's Chch home studio, Monty has been on the road captivating audiences all over the country, as far south as Stewart Island and Milford Sound. Being on the road full time gives Monty a unique insight into some of New Zealand's strangest and most wonderful people & places that he reflects on with humour during his personal shows. His raw acoustic songs are accompanied by vocal harmonies, bass lines, and acoustic percussion thanks to Monty's impressive loop pedal craft.
The Homebound Tour offers a chance to catch songs from his debut EP polished from a national tour's worth of performing them LiVe & baReFOot, as well as some fresh material written on the road.
It's wholesome, it's authentic, it's real live music.
