Gig Information

Last night of stunning sonic stupidity...provided by

THE CRABBS
SEX PEST
BLOODY SOULS
THE DOBERMEN (Wgtn)
THE CAVEMEN

Plus the Dirtbag DJs...

THE CRABBS - A very rare appearance by this crustacean crew. Existing solely to reinterpret 60s garage classics, at this point in time their ongoing project is to record their own magically manic versions of every toon on the Nuggets Box set. Last time I checked on their progress theyd got pretty much past half way!

SEX PEST - An experienced gang of malcontents, these delinquents keep upping their game, with each set better than the last. Expect the banter to flow free and lively, the riddim section to crash swing and punch, nagging spidery scuzz geetar work and bellowing vox/intense lung workouts..like the moniker suggests these critters aint gonna be easy to ignore..

BLOODY SOULS - Hauled back across the ditch, after a self imposed exile to OZ brought about by an OD of drumming duties for every second band in Dorkland, we can place Hammer Hammond back on the kit, and let him do his thing w/that other half of the Bloodbags.

THE DOBERMEN - This evenings out-of-town guests, its gonna get loud and frenzied when this trio pull out the double drums and vintage amp stack. Closest way to describe them, Can meets biker flick instro fuzz meets punk rok noise boogie..you will be converted to their cryptic cause..

THE CAVEMEN - Like voodoo possessed savages acting out their weekly rituals, these young cats bring a new kinda wildness to the Auckland scene...outta the blocks like rabid dogs, they swing heartily like cavemen clubs, and wail wickedly like the teenage stoneage psychos they are..
