Celebrating the release of their brand new EP, Cataclysm, out through MUZAI Records on September 7th, Wellington space-rock outfit Sunken Seas make their long awaited return to Auckland - into the cavernous Whammy Bar on November 2nd to play material from the new EP and, naturally, stuff from their critically acclaimed debut Null Hour.
Joining them in Auckland are label mates Girls Pissing on Girls Pissing, who throughout 2013 have seen their audiences steadily growing since the release of their album-slash-book Eeling. The group are about to embark on an eagerly anticipated tour of Australia at the end of the year, all the while working on material for both an EP and album #2.
Rounding out this line up are HDSPNS - who at this time of writing are about to release their follow up to 2012's EAI EP. Tracks Awa and A Wheel Burning are currently available for download on their Bandcamp, and the disco-punk quartet look set to have one of 2013's most eagerly anticipated releases to end the year with.
