LADIES AND GERMS PREPARE TO FEAST YOUR EYES AND EARS ON A HEAVY METAL SPECTACULAR!
Dead Teach the Living are releasing their debut album 'The Feeding Begins' and have gathered some special guests to help them birth this freakish monstrosity.
15th February | Doors open 8pm | Ding Dong Lounge | $10 entry
Dead Teach the Living:
A five piece New Zealand metal band. While often described as a mix of extreme metal and punk, their eclectic range of influences becomes evident through the diversity and experimentation within songs. Expect twisted melodies, crazy playing and a lot of intensity - on record and live!
Blackleaf Gardens:
A four piece progressive metal band that brings crushing riffs, groovy tune and chaotically progressive rhythms together with catchy bipolar vocals delivering screams through lullabies. Likened to prestigious acts such as Opeth, Mastodon, The Faceless and Tool. The band brings an explosive, bizarre and maniacal performance.
Shards of Sky:
A five piece Auckland metal band playing progressive death metal using extended range instruments. They bring crushing grooves interspersed with sombre melody and some pretty nifty bass licks. Considering these guys are opening up the show, they certainly sound a lot like the end of the world.
