Australian Thrash Metal band HAZMAT makes its way to New Zealand shores once again and this time for their own headlining tour! Having shared New Zealand stages with heavy metal luminaries Paul Dianno and Blaze Bayley in 2012 they are now back to embark on their own shows. Other acts that HAZMAT shared the stage with in 2012 include Tim Ripper Owens and Heaven.
Their raw style of Thrash Metal are a throwback to the late 80s and draw on influences such as early Metallica and Megadeth being notable examples. If you enjoy Megadeth then you can simply not miss out on seeing this band.
Their debut self titled album HAZMAT has sold well both in Australia and abroad and has received extensive airplay internationally. Two tracks of the debut album are supported by film clips, the first one being LIFE and the second the ANZAC tribute RAGGED BLOODY HEROES.
The band are currently in pre-production for their new album ATONEMENT for which they have released a single and film clip by the name of THE HANGING TREE.
Independant and without financial backing, HAZMAT continue to gain momentum both at home and abroad with their relentless live performance and commitment to their own unique breed of thrash metal music.
