ONE DAY - TWO FABULOUS EVENTS
As part of the Supporters of Tiritiri Matangi 25th Anniversary Celebrations, we are holding two musical events on the Island on 8 March 2014.
Sounding Tiritiri Matangi: In the spirit of the rich diversity of bird and bush life on Tiritiri, some twenty-plus artists/musicians will create surprise 'sonic encounters' for a visiting audience to experience as they wander the tracks through Wattle Valley and around the lighthouse (a sound-track map will be supplied).
This will be followed before dusk by a set of Jazz and Blues-style performances near the lighthouse, concluding with a horn finale you won't forget.
Tickets are $25.00, payable when you book your ferry ticket via the 360 Discovery website.
Bookings open on Friday 14 February.
There will be two ferries coming out on March 8th: the normal sailing at 9.00 am from Auckland and an extra sailing at midday, and three ferry departures from the Island: the normal departure at 3.30 pm to Auckland and Gulf Harbour, a departure at 8.00 pm for Gulf Harbour, and a departure at 8.50 pm for Auckland.
