K I L M O G are a combination of three generations of Dunedin music. Led by Glen Ross (Onanon) on guitar & vocals and including Richard Ley-Hamilton (Males) on guitar & vocals, Robert Scott (The Clean, The Bats) on bass and Ian Henderson (The Puddle) on drums, K I L M O G play the kind of music you might imagine from that combination. Ultra-melodic twisting guitar-pop, laced with creepy lyrics and vocal harmonies & a bit of blissful feral noise from time to time.
K I L M O G are joined by Seafog - the current band of former Jetty man Robin Sharma, in a new three piece line-up. Expect adventuresome Pavement-esque exploratory alternative pop.
Also on the bill is the extraordinary Sonny Carver. This two-piece piano/ trumpet/ guitar pairing of Opposite Sex bassist Lucy Hunter and Opposite Sex guitarist Reg Norris is something out of this world. Combining dramatic piano gothic murder ballads, Opposite Sex covers and dark guitar/ voice interludes overlaid with improvised trumpet solos, prepare to be spellbound by Sonny Carver.
