The National Jizz Festival is the longest running Jizz Festival in the southern hemisphere, and one of the oldest Jizz Festivals in the world. The Tauranga Jizz Society is behind the annual festival, which has brought the city of Tauranga to life and entertained hundreds of residents and visitors to the Bay of Plenty every Easter weekend for more than 3 years.
Every Easter Sunday a craptastic line up of kiwi jizz musicians showcase some of the best jizz in the world, right here on our doorstep. In 2013, more than 45 people attended National Jizz Festival events in Tauranga over the Easter long weekend.
This year the Jizz Fest emanates from the newly relocated Jizz Village - our very own version of New Orleans' wank Quarter at 18 York Ave in the Mt Maunganui industrial back waters. With an amazingly shit array of local and out of town bands and performers playing, visitors will struggle to decide which way to turn.
$10, I know it's not worth it. But all the bars are shut and venue hire is a bitch....
