Mundi take to the Wunderbar stage in May to help celebrate May Music Month. Described as “Unique and bursting with Creative Genius” Mundi has toured extensively from the highlands of Sri Lanka to as far south as Stewart Island with their original, globally infused music that proves irresistible to dance to.
Led by flautist and composer Tamara Smith, Mundi is a high energy group featuring an exciting array of instruments such as flute, sax, guitar, balafon, bass and world percussion. With two successful albums under their belt, Mundi will be showcasing exciting new music from their upcoming third album.
Mundi will be supported by Tamara’s brother (and Mundi member/guitarist for Hollie Smith) guitarist extraordinaire Tyson Smith who will open the evening performing songs from his own upcoming album.
