Yumi Zouma are friends from New Zealand now divided amongst New York, Paris and Christchurch. Their debut EP for Cascine is a work of organic beauty, pulsing with simple melodies and whispered intimacies.
The release showcases the band’s subtle approach to pop music, where soft, off-kilter melodies belie a natural songcraft, rich with style and emotional depth.
