Christchurch band PERMANENCE have been performing the music of Joy Division for over 5 years now.
Initially formed to play a one-off performance as part of the annual Ian Curtis Tribute events it was clear to see that people wanted more - so we obliged!
PERMANENCE are Danny Webster (Vocals/guitar/keyboards), Linda Baran (Bass), Wade Byers (e-Drums) & Mayan Baran (keyboards).
The songs performed cover the extent of Joy Divisions short career including early raw punk tracks from the Warsaw days through to their synth driven anthems.
