Influenced by recently discovered dirt cheap 90s house and techno records and touching base on the deliberately uncharismatic and well-humoured early DIY of 00s Dunedin/Auckland , this debut sees him plunging deep into 8 luxuriously deranged hybrid tunes. I Don't Give It comes out as if someone like Metamatics, BFC or DJ Tonka produced their tunes out of some shitty Wellington flat, hell bent on being extremely funky and heavy but never at the sacrifice of his unique playfulness, not to mention melody.
