For the first time this year Collude returns to Auckland city's longest running home of House & Tech, Ink Bar. Teaming up with the Chameleon crew we've developed a new club night and have invited you to join us for a night full of choice people while we enjoy phat, proper Tech House!!
Headlining the first of many 'Tech Support' sessions is one of the few remaining Kiwi house legends, DJ MIKEY HAVOC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikey_Havoc). As many of you know, Mikey has spent the last few decades bringing Kiwi’s entertainment across his singing, TV shows, Radio Stations (Bfm & Hauraki Radio) and enjoyed quite the career as a DJ, playing at the Big Day Out and amongst many more festivals such as Deep Hard n Funky at the original St James.
The Chameleon crew fresh off of the success of their monthly parties Summer Sessions at Backyard Bar and playing across a broad spectrum of events including the Highlife Massimo sessions.
Well known for their own tech house productions, rigorous sets, energy behind the decks and stunning vocals from MC Emma Hand, you can expect chunky tech house with a vocal flow.
In January 2013 Mixmag called Cam Harris a 90's houser, His remix work with Greg Churchill and Gung Ho! Records said he takes it all proper house, let’s face it, Cam is no stranger to tech house as seen in a lot of his production at all major online download sites with powerful DJ sets to suit.
Brett Bronze evolved from a bedroom vinyl collector & DJ in 2006 mixing an array of house & Aural Trash influenced electro & breaks to a diverse selector mixing all sorts for whatever the occasion be it tech, big beat, garage, house, breaks or bassline beats. Laying a unique techy bassline set especially for this.
