Born and raised in California, Mimi discovered her love for performing on the streets of American cities. Moving to Australia then to New Zealand, she continues to make music around the world, playing in venues of all kinds, street and stage alike. Creating layer upon layer of a raw, prevailing sound that simply burst with life, journey and experience, Mimi feels most herself when behind any instrument at all, sharing the understanding that comes from music.
