After rave reviews for their debut EP, Racing is gearing up for their second national tour through Whanganui, Napier, New Plymouth, Wellington and Auckland. For those who are still yet to see Racing live, you are in for a genuine full 40 oz.
Racing’s live show is as equally punishing as it is liberating, their sound is other-worldly and mind-bending. Rhythms that chant and melodies that hover allow them to take the straight rock and roll music they love and take it somewhere new, somewhere entirely theirs.
Andrew Tidball from Cheese on Toast said - “Holy shit! The debut E.P. from Racing sounds abso-fuckin-lutely huge! Can you fit it into your ears' It’s so freaking solid!”
Connor Whitten of TV3 described the Racing’s live show as “NZ's best new-rock-group-you-should’ve-heard-of-by-now.”
But the good news doesn’t stop there, Racing won’t be touring alone, they will be co-conspiring with Auckland band Husk. Husk is heavier than heavy. A fuzz-junkie trio with their debut album in the can, single climbing the charts and a sound that can only be described as ‘molten rock’ this will not be the last time you read their bio.
