Gig Information

Our 10th celebration of noise and eclectic weirdness of all types!
We're absolutely stoked to have been able to put together that many shows over the last year and a bit, thanks to Valhalla and the huge amount of performers keen to share their unique vision with everyone.

There's no way you want to miss this lineup, pulling from all over the country/world it will blow your mind (and ears).

* Our Love Will Destroy The World
* Acclimate (Rotorua/US)
* E/N/T
* The Plough That Broke The Plains (Wellington/Christchurch)
* Body Negative (Auckland/Germany)

* Our Love Will Destroy The World
https://campbellkneale.bandcamp.com/
Formed outta the smouldering ashes of the ball busting freenoise heaviosity that was BIRCHVILLECAT MOTEL, performed in every glorious shit hole between here and the Arctic Circle since 2001AD with nothing to show for the energy expended except some 300-odd releases on every bedroom label that ever existed for more than the time it takes to make
a tape cover with a marker pen.
If you don't know Campbell James Kneale, you need to get acquainted, and fast. We're very pleased to have him join us for our 10th event. Having personally seen him perform in/as Black Boned Angel, Birchville Cat Motel and most recently Our Love Will Destroy The World, your ears will be in for a treat.

* Acclimate

(Electronic Experimentalism, Ambient Soundscapes and Avante Garde Industrialism)
Noisy abrasive sounds collide with atmospheric patterns of tranquillity, layers of dark low end rumblings hover over minimal textures of electronic experimentalism and rusty and scratchy power noise beats clash with synthetic outer space pad work to create a whole new dimension of sonic pleasure. - Chain DLK review
Originally hailing from America’s Rust Belt, New Zealand based sound artist Artemis K has been performing as Acclimate for nearly 20 years and is credited with over 30 releases, appearing on labels such as Japan’s Xerxes Records, Ad Noiseam, Invisible Records, Live Bait Recording Foundation, DTA+ Records, Metropolis and Fluttering Dragon. He has
performed and/or collaborated with the likes of PBK, Merzbow, AUBE, ConDemek, Schimpfluch-Gruppe, Toy Bizarre, Attrition, Totemplow, Kid 606, Mago and Disc (Matmos). Acclimate continues to record and release albums both solo and alongside PBK (as V.1) on New Zealand’s Samboy Get Help! Recordings.
