Hello. It is lovely to be back in New Zealand.
While we did of course waste most of our two years in London on public transport, artisanal coffee, working in hospitality and getting mugged, we also worked on a debut album. We are glad to announce that it made the trip back home with us.
'Happiness Is Trouble' will be our first full length release, and we are so excited to put something out with more than five songs on it that we are going to throw a nationwide party to celebrate. Starting in Raglan on January 6th and then marauding southwards, we will be performing many of the brand new songs live, alongside our favourites from the EP's, and culminating in Auckland where we will release the album in style at Whammy Bar on Februrary 5th.
We are also bringing some new friends along on the ride with us, as we have completely run out of anything to talk about between the two of us anymore and desperately need some better company. Returning home from London is our good friend Dominic Jones on the bass guitar and between-song banter, and making his debut with us on the drums is Jim Hannah, a part-time rap star and full time Coca-Cola connoisseur.
