Recognizable to many as the horn section from local funk juggernaut Supergroove, this fiery pair of innovators have honed their skill over many years of blistering performances.
That they still harbour as deep a love for blues and rhythm as they did when first kindling those Supergroove flames in Ponsonby, is obvious; it exudes from the firey edges of their bright and muscular music. As a live act, their songs explode upon the stage, where the refuse to leave anything in reserve. The only remains of their explosions can be seen to glisten on their instruments like sun upon the armour of a marauding Roman Legion.
