Guy is an Auckland singer-songwriter who has released 4 solo albums and 2 band albums
with Selon Recliner. In 1990 Guy won the Silver Scroll Award for his third album “Don’t Take Me For Granted”. The same year he also won the Most Promising Male Vocalist Award.
He is now releasing his 5th solo album, “West by North” after returning from 4 years in India and Thailand.
He has toured NZ extensively on several occasions with long time friend Derek Lind (who
acted as “Recording Reviewer” on “West By North”), as well as supporting a variety of
local and international acts over the years.
Recorded at Roundhead Studios, “West By North” exhibits a distinct country feel by way of Glenn Ross Campbell’s captivating pedal steel playing.
