RAISED FIST ANNOUNCES 2016 AUSTRALIAN | NZ TOUR
Blunt, brutal and relentless - the only way to describe Sweden’s hardcore powerhouse RAISED FIST whom are heading back down under this December for their first tour in over four years to support their sixth studio album, “From The North”.
Formed over two decades ago, RAISED FIST is one of the longest-running and vital acts in the hardcore world to date. Constantly pushing the boundaries with each album, their diverse mix of New York hardcore, Swedish punk and heavy metal set them apart from any other.
“From The North” is as distinct as ever. Their unique blend of hardcore and punk, combined with inventive melodies and heavy riffs, ensures there is plenty of power behind their wrath of lyrics and tracks.
Vocalist Alexander Hagman explains the album’s diversity by stating, “This time we have a foundation of extremely good riffs, we have great arrangements, some extremely fierce and elaborate vocals, an amazing production and it all comes together as the best album we could possibly have done at this time in our career.”
Though ostensibly a straight-up hardcore band, Raised Fist have always been in possession of a superior command of groove than many of their contemporaries.
