UXBRIDGE proudly presents Debbie Harwood and her jazz quartet, performing songs from her solo album, Soothe Me. “This is the album I was born to sing!” The collection of languid, soulful songs about love and life are set to a backdrop of jazz rhythms reminiscent of post-World War II swing. Best known as the lass who conceptualised the kiwi phenomenon, When the Cat’s Away, Debbie’s had a lasting impact on the NZ music scene. She’s performed for the Queen, the Dalai Lama and sang the official song at the 1990 Commonwealth Games… and now Debbie’s coming to UXBRIDGE!
