The Nukes are far more than a ukulele band. They are high entertainment. Part vaudeville, part rat-pack, part musical car crash. This talented trio deliver an engaging mix of humour and originality that audiences love.
The innocent little uke is the instrument of choice and audiences will be staggered by what they are able achieve with it. Great song writing, musicianship and 3-part harmony combine to create a truly memorable experience.
On the back of headlining the Geraldine Ukulele Festival , The Nukes stop over in at Blue Smoke for a final Christchurch performance before heading back to West Auckland. This Free Family friendly show finale encourages folk of all ages to bring their instrument along and join in the fun on a Sunday July 10th arvo from 4pm , pick up some tips ask your questions and the Nukes will help you along your uke playing way as well as put on a fab show.
