Back from the abyss and empty void of a parallel universe, KILLING BEAR! Their first show in over year with a new line up of rompin stompin alien bastards. Get set to party!
KILLING BEAR
In the far distant future a mystical tribe on Mars use their psychic powers to travel back in time. They possessed the minds of a band of musicians with the aim to utilise their partytastic powers to correct the undoings of the past. Armed with nothing but drums, synths and amplified guitars the band was then able to transcend the barriers of space-time. With the power of music they travelled back a millennia and stopped a devastating event in our history. This event now never occurred because we are living in a parallel future to the one in which it happened. Now in 2016 the next catastrophic event is just around the corner and we need you to party hard to help stop it from ever happening. Killing Bear! Psychedelic futuristic music from the past from another planet.
DRAGHOUND:
Draghound are a new four piece dirty blonde psych pop band from Wellington. With retro riffs and lush licks they work themselves into a frenzy. Come check them out and get an ear full of salted caramel.
READY SETT:
Guitar-slingin', drum-stompin', beer-swiggin' Ready Sett are a two piece rock/indie duo based in Wellington. Ready Sett's live show is filled with gritty guitar riffs and catchy choruses that will have you singing along for days. Our songs are about everyday struggles, women who box, and love gone wrong. We're a little bit rock, a little bit indie, and a little bit blues. Having actively gigged in and around Wellington since September 2014, Ready Sett released their debut 'Badger EP' in December 2015.
