Megahertz are Darryl Kirk (Squirm) on Drums, Colin MacDiarmid (Mumblefunkers, Sydney) on Bass and Mychael Prov (Blister) on Guitar and Vocals. Drawing influences from the likes of Sugar, The Straightjacket Fits, Dinosaur Jr and Hüsker Dü with a strong pop sensibility and a warm twelve string-driven sound.
Having released their debut EP “Transmission” in August 2015, the band have returned to the studio to record the debut album. “Sun In My Solar System” is due for release October 10th, 2016. The first single from the album Tuesday was released July 7th. The second single Curiosity will be released along with its accompanying music video on September 22nd.
