Strangely Arousing are a 5-piece band originally from Rotorua, specialising in bending boundaries between genres and creating an electric yet loveable atmosphere.
They’ve worked hard for the past 5 years making an impression on the New Zealand Music scene, touring the country, opening for bands that have inspired their unique, eclectic sound, and landing slots at festivals headlined by the likes of Damian Marley, Fat Freddy’s Drop and Sticky Fingers. This experience creates the rare combination of a group of young, energetic performers that make up a band as well-seasoned as the finest Austrian Schnitzel.
This won’t be Strangely Arousing's first foray at the mighty Bodega - and with local 4-piece Funkacybin, it’s one of the last local acts through the doors before Bodega closes.
