James Tait-Jamieson is known to Wellington audiences though his performances with Hot Club Sandwich, The Andrew London Trio and The Rodger Fox Big Band.
He has just scored a short cruise-ship contract and will be sailing with his band The Lounge Lizards from Brisbane to Papua New Guinea and back for 11 days over the Christmas period. The band's brief is to recreate the sound of the ‘Swingin’ 60s’ - Frank Sinatra, Louis Prima, Henry Mancini, Burt Bacharach etc. Crooned, jazzy vocals and classic instrumentals. The group will be trying out some of this new repertoire at the Pavilion.
