Gig Information

His Master's Voice, Mothra, and Bloodnut play the Kings Arms for one of the last times while the legendary venue still stands.

HMV : His Masters Voice call their style of music “The Devils Blues”. Listen to their 2014 album ‘Possession’ and you will hear influences from the greats of classic HEAVY rock but with a contemporary energy and relevance. Musically and visually the band possess an inventive and original signature style that showcases the strength of their collective song writing, yet allows their individual talents to show through. His Masters Voice put everything into their live performance. To them, their audience comes first and that audience grows in number and dedication with every show

Mothra : Mothra is an instrumental post metal band from Auckland NZ formed in 2008, blending elements of post metal, sludge, math metal, and psychedelic/progressive rock into their sound. Mothra have opened for Helmet, Russian Circles, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Earth, Devin Townsend Project, Jakob, This Will Destroy You, Mono and High on Fire. Their debut album 'Decision Process' was released earlier this year.
.
Bloodnut : Bloodnut is an all ginger sludge band straight out of Auckland NZ. See what happens when an all red head band descended from viking warriors (probably) get together...it might get heavy. Don't miss this blend of Stoner/Sludge/Doom/Catchy-goodness.
