‘The Frank Burkitt Band’ are Frank Burkitt (Guitarist,Lead Vocals), Cameron Dusty Burnell (Mandolin), KrissyJackson (Fiddle), KaraFilbey(Backing Vocals and Percussion) and James Geluk(Double Bass).
Heavily influenced by bluegrass, jazz, western swing, country and Americana – it is highly unique and skilled song-writing that defines Burkitt. Backed up by a band that understands perfectly how to add infectious rhythm and groove, varied and skilled solo breaks and powerful harmonies.
They have become well known for Burkitt's entertaining song-writing and tight arrangements. Upbeat acoustic swing coupled with beautiful folk ballads performed by a virtuosic band that give Burkitt’s songs
vibrancy and depth. Their new EP 'The Parade' is released on Friday 21st October, 2016 across all online platforms and on CD.
