Two very special artists are visiting Auckland for two very special joint shows this January!
Weyes Blood (aka Natalie Mering) sings folk music, but not as you know it. Following notable collaborations with the likes of Ariel Pink and Drugdealer, Weyes Blood’s fourth album Front Row Seat To Earth comes as a heart-wrenching delight, sounding at once out of time and urgently in-the-now. Guaranteed to be in 2016 Top Tens all over the show.
Chicago resident Haley Fohr’s striking voice - an impassioned baritone - is her music’s centerpiece and guiding force. Most recently, Fohr traded her Circuit Des Yeux persona to inhabit the tragic (albeit imaginary) story of cocaine-dealer Jackie Lynn, with a dark, hypnotic, “self-titled” concept album.
